Braiding Sweetgrass Book Study

Wednesdays, April 3 - May 8; 7:00 p.m. | As a botanist, Robin Wall Kimmerer has been trained to ask questions of nature using the tools of science. As a citizen of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, she embraces plants and animals as our oldest teachers. In Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants, Kimmerer brings these two lenses of knowledge together. This Indigenous scientist, woman and mother woman reminds readers of the gifts and lessons of all living beings, even when we’ve forgotten how to hear their voices.
