Saturday, June 1st; 7:00 p.m. | Christoph Wagner, cellist, and Joanne Kong, pianist, have been acclaimed for their sensitive and passionate artistry. Cellist Christoph Wagner hails from Germany, is the winner of numerous international awards, and has performed in prestigious venues around the world. Joanne Kong, pianist, was awarded a fellowship from the American Academy of the Arts in Europe and is recognized for her versatility as a solo and chamber musician. One concertgoer wrote, “Christoph and Joanne come together with exquisite beauty. That unique ability - the gift of sharing - from the composer, to and through Christoph and Joanne, and into the body and soul of the listener speaks to the depth of their connection to the music and each other. Their playing is exquisite and is a gift to all who have the opportunity of experiencing them.” This evening’s concert is part of the duo’s 2024 Northwest concert and teaching tour.
